Looking for information about the manufacture of these green transferware state souvenir plates.
None of the state plates I have a maker’s mark. I don’t believe they are from Kettlesprings or Vernon Kilns.
Some common design elements:
Center image with a scroll at the top and bottom that contains the place name and motto
Five surrounding images set in scrolled frames
Plate-specific design motif between each scrolled frame (for Nevada it’s a pair of dice, for Georgia it’s a peach)
Tick marks with a circle around the rim of the plates
